States which are more powerful in industrial technology can easily manipulate the world economy and can turn the odds in their favor. This is one example of the power and influence of industrial technology. There can be thousands of examples more. The computer technology has made impossible tasks, which at one time were merely a dream, possible. Nowadays, more and more engineers are busy working out a more powerful plan to bring yet another revolution in the automation industry. And who knows what we might see in the coming days.
Currently, we are surrounded by this automation technology. There can be numerous examples such as Atm machines, credit card technology, online banking systems, automobile manufacturing, space technology, transportation, laser welding, satellite communication and many more. All these are possible through industry automation.
Despite all the great benefits of industry automation, it has some social implications too. For example, by reducing human effort it indirectly eliminates the need of human intervention in work. This can create a grave problem by increasing the unemployment rate. Although, it has been said by the capitalists that industrial revolution brings itself a number of opportunities, the fact is that it indirectly reduces the opportunities by the use of machines and computer technology. There are arguments on both sides of the line and still continue to be now.
Whatever the case may be, one thing is quite clear that industry automation has without a doubt given more benefits to the society than problems and social development will become impossible without such technology.
